An event that takes place when veins or arteries become blocked by platelets that are working to "plug" an injury, preventing blood from flowing normally through the body, and possibly causing a stroke., also known as blood clots, forming in other parts of your body. The risk of thrombotic adverse events is less than 1%.*

The most common side effects in people with hemophilia with inhibitors taking NovoSeven® RT include:

  • Fever
  • Bleeding
  • Injection site reaction
  • Joint pain
  • Headache
  • High or low blood pressure
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Pain
  • Swelling
  • Rash

*In patients with hemophilia A or B with inhibitors and acquired hemophilia.
